Tattoo artists everywhere are being confronted with sketches of these perfect desserts and now some are even adding the cupcake to their generic tattoo library! Ironic? Or is it expected? Will cupcake tattoos ever be as common place as a butterfly or a heart? One can only hope no but it remains to be seen. If I had to choose between a skull and cross bones or a cupcake I know which way I would go! This new tattoo phase just goes to shows cupcakes wide spread popularity and iconic status, who knew a handful of dessert could change so much?! Here is just a few of the creative tattoos that people are making part of themselves! Cupcakes for life!!

I never thought I would see the day cupcakes tats were in style, but better a cupcake than a butterfly tramp stamp! This is too funny. I never thought that I would learn a variety of things about cupcakes. Verryyyy interesting ha!!

This is sooo funny! I neved could imagine that CUPCAKES would be a fad in the tattoo world! It does make sense, in a way, after comparing it to butterflies and hearts. It is something sweet and cute, that, like a butterfly, when you see it, it makes you happy. And like Maria says, I’d much rather see a cupcake tramp stamp than a butterfly one!!

I can’t believe people actually get tattoos of cupcakes.. really?! I love cupcakes, but I would never want one permanently on me. This tattoo seems rather childish and reminds me of ann frank coloring books the little girl I babysit uses. What is this world coming to.

I think this is ridiculous. Who needs a cucpake on them? I guess if they really want it, but do they not realize that the cupcake will be there forever? What if they get tired of cupcakes and the cupcake trend declines? However, I am not a big fans of tatoos anyways so what do I know. But I just wonder if with every new trend, soon to follow are tattoos?
